i am a MORON. i think im going to start driving the van from now on.

ok, so today i had to go pick up my brother from play practice. i drove around for a little while, no problem. so i see jessi(no idea how to spell it) and he flips me off, and starts to fallow me, so i try to get away(this obviously didnt work because he has like 200 more HP then me). so i stop at an intersection, he is at the stop sign and i am just sitting there(no stop sing) and he says "theres no stop sign, what are you doing!?" "just being annoying!" at witch point i floor it. no problem yet. but.. there are train tracks ahead. i hit the tracks, thinking that they are nice and smooth like the other tracks in town. man was i wrong, i hit them at... probably 40-50. i see that they are terrable. i WOULD have try to step on my brakes, but.. i was already air born(not sure if thats the right spelling). i got a good three feet of air. not good. i just keep driving, because they are still chasing me. i eventualy stop and they talk to me. they said that they saw a ton of sparks come from the back of the car. crap. so i go check and see if anything is brocken. everything is good . but the thing is i could have easily lost controll on the landing and killed a few people. i am an idiot. so ill probably be sticking to the van so i dont do crap like that again. but i g2g do something.. ill continue the thread later. so whatdya think...

I think that my horizontal flight record was a little over 100 feet with 6 people aboard in a 55 Chevy.

Two feet farther or a little straighter and I would have landed past the bend in the road and gone off into the trees.

Your short hop sounds like only a small miscalculation.

And next time, don't worry about spelling...it gets distracting when you try and explain to us that you don't know how to spell a work. Perhaps...a simple sp? next to the word would be less distracting.

Yeah, I tried that yesterday, but not expecting to be airborn.

I was in the intersection and it was humped and I was going 60 in a 40 in fairly busy intersection. (I was chasing a damn ricer chick, she was pissing me off ). Anywho...yeah now I know not to do that again.

Otherwise, good story and glad you're ok.

I say, stick with the Thunderbird...better than a beater minivan.

over 100 ft, damn the longest I travelled was like 10 feet, like a foot off the ground doing 90. Thats crazy, I mean wouldn't a 55 chevy be heavy, im guessing a car, belair or something?
