Sometimes when the mailman comes to your door asking you to sign a certified letter, it's a good thing.
Unfortunately recently, it was not.
Good game DDS, gg.
The story behind it... I was driving "spiritedly" a few months ago through some traffic, and a cop saw me and pounced. He couldn't pin me for speeding or anything, but he did notice my tag expired a few days prior to that. Since he couldn't get me on anything else, he went to the trouble of writing me a citation for it. I waited to near the end of my time to deal with it, and ended up going and settling it (paying them $280 rather than fighting). I thought that was the end of it. When I followed up on this letter I got, I found out the municipal court had already submitted to the Department of Driver Services (DDS) that I didn't pay, so my license was suspended. When I payed up, I thought that'd clear automatically, but no. I had to spend an entire day going to the court and getting a relase form filled out, signed, and notorized (about 5 hours of waiting in lines and coming back later). I then had to take that release to the DDS main office physically by hand- they couldn't fax it or call it in for me or anything (but they could sure call the suspension in). Okay, so I finally arrived at the DDS office and found it looked very similar to the DMV, with a huge room full of chairs and numbers being called. I ended up having to wait for almost an hour there until I my number was called to give them the form and get my license reinstated. Entire day wasted.
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.

so you technically couldn't drive to the court? Thats so gay haha. I have 2 tickets, one was in my accident with my old car, what a joke, and the other one I was going like 7 over on graduation night in high school.
