How long are you going to be there? There's a ton of stuff to do in Dallas lots of clubs, lots of good restaurants etc..

i liked it when i was there... but after spending so much time here in PA everywhere else is just... so flat.

I'm there from thursday evening to sunday afternoon, working on friday and saturday. Not really the clubbing type anymore but I hear it is a nice place. I'll be at texas motor sppedway all day friday and saturday. should be interesting. Hopefully I'll have time to do some stuff at night.

Being at the Texas Motor Speedway, you'll be closer to Fort Worth - there's a place in downtown Ft Worth called "Riskys" great ribs! If you get to the upper west side of Dallas there's reastaurant row with a ton of good "eats" (& uhmm gentlemen clubs also. The "Texas cure-all" - Having a bad day? Hell with it, lets go to the titty bar :woot Vinnie from Pantera owns Dallas Gentlemens Club)

I guess you havn't been to Oregon or Washington much. It is far from flat over here. And not to mention one of the best Ski/Snowboard seasons in a long time!!

I am back and have been for a couple days but you know how things back up on you when you are out of town.

Dallas/Ft. Worth was very flat. kind of annoying, but we all can't afford hills. Being a nascar event it had the usual amount of redneck, mixed with hick. Some good sponsors were there. Jack Daniels, Crown Royal and Berreta (the gun people) I did see a few bimmers in the lots but mostly pick-ups, SUV's and Campers.

AS for work, I did get a lot done. I also managed to make it down to Dallas to the former book depository. Much smaller than you would imagine.

Pics will be coming in a few more days. I'm still working on the stuff that didn't get done while I was gone.

You didn't mention prior to your trip that you wanted hills. Just southwest of Dallas/Ft Worth is what they call "hill country". It's not the rockies but pretty close. Texas has a little of everything - hills, mountains, desert, etc... Remember it's "only" 1001 miles across (east to west)
