Dudesky gets a ticket today

I haven't gotten a moving violation in probably 20yrs, and this one's gonna cost me points

There's this fork in a road where they put a left turn signal maybe a year ago. I keep forgetting about the light, and just turn into the left of the fork. But this time, there was a cop dead ahead of me coming the opposite way, flashed his lights, and I pulled over. He asked if I knew why he pulled me over, and I said (like an idiot) "Yep, I realized it after I already passed the intersection." <---DOUBLE DOH!!

What I should have done was play dumb, and say "since when did they put that light there?!". Maybe he would have let me go with a warning. Oh well, live and learn. The points I don't really care about, I just hope they don't jack my insurance up too high because of this

Well, I don't know if his violation would qualify for that... meaning that driving course. I was obilgated to take that course some years back after recieving two tickets in one night. The first was running a red light (bullshit) and the other was speeding (52 in a 35) to make that light. That's a total of SIX points. The driving course was in Plainfield, NJ.

What did they call the moving violation? Failure to follow signs? Failure to yeild? "Who's gives a shit, your paying up sucka?" How many points....? I don't know what the qualifications are, but if it's only a 2 point ticket, you may not be able to use that school thing as a method of reduction, but i'm not really sure. I just know that at six points, it was mandatory. Oh, and they reduced my violation by 3 points, of course, insurance doesn't see three... they saw six. Fuckers.

Not to get off topic, but you guys in NJ are getting raped by Insurance companies. NJ is rated the highest charging state in all 50 for insurance rates but they aren't even close in accidents or violations. NJ rates in the A/V categories are like 8th behind California, Florida, Illinois, Texas. What's up with that?

^^ cause the governement over regulated. My mother-in-law lives in sewell.

I'm not sure about NJ, but you could always go to court and usually they drop the points to get to your sweet, sweet, cash. They don't care about the insurance take, they only want the dough.

Yea, money talks and bullshit walks, or however that phrase goes. I got another ticket for doing 90 in a 65... went to court, got it down from 4 points to 2 points..... SO instead of paying like a $180 ticket, I get to pay $280 for some BS charge and court fees, but i loose 2 points. So yea, it does exist, but it totally depends on the judge. He could be some old geezer who's viagra didn't work for him... having a bad day, you come in... BAHM... loose ur license for 30days.
