Not the "pansy type" that line up in a firing squad and get sawed down. Granted it takes balls to "die like a gentleman", but really, its suicide.

And since we're on it, the best soldiers are the ones that fight with heart and live to tell the tale. Though that is more theological... Physical war fare is well, more dependent on the discipline of the unit.
