Why can't people just go about the daylight relevant activities in adjusted schedules without changing everyone's clocks?

It's more simplistic to move the minute hand one revolution than to adjust everyone's schedules... seriously folks... what's with these comments... I'd rather have a longer day. I like sunlight.

you don't have a longer day, the sun rises when it wishes. and sets when its time has come. your daylight hours don't change. I'm just saying stop messing with it in the winter. Wherever we are now, lets just stay that way.

Making us get up earlier and all that daylight saving isn't real. The total hours of daylight is identical. All that happened was shifting the active day schedule, offsetting it an hour. Right?

Ya, still have to get up at the same time....most people still stay up to the time they're used to. So ya identical....pretty much a brain fuck to ones head. But i love the longer daylight much more.

Check it out on wikipedia.org. You'd probaly actually learn something other than spouting out the liberal agenda.

This is probrolly off topic, but I just heard this on the History Channel. The tsunami in 2004 December was caused by that earthquake... we all know that, but I'm sure most of us (including myself) don't comprehend how powerful that earthquake was. According to the History channel, it was so strong that it had slowed down the Earth's rotation by 0.00000186 sec.

Ok, i know it's actually WAY off topic, but, still, our days' have been slowed down by that many seconds...

Well, I thought it was interesting...
