which one?

ok, so right now i have picked two cars as my next car, but they are two compleatly different things.

1. a... 1958 GMC 150. the reason im thinking this one is because ill be able to buy, and somewhat restore it for pretty cheap(probably like 1,500 total) and it will be handy because of the dirt roads and the mud and what not. and it will come in handy around the farm and stuff. heres a crappy pic http://www.slibe.com/images/8e8d8987-GMC_JPG.jpg

and,

2. a e30/e36 325is. because, um, well.. its a BMW. lol. but the problem i have with this is... pretty much what i listed above. NOT going to take the dirt roads well, and im going to have to drive it in the mud some time.(with the gmc, that isnt a problem) and bla bla bla...

so what do you guys think? buy the 325, and keep the thunderbird to take the muddy roads,a nd only take bimmer out when the roads are ok? or, buy the GMC and restore it, and go out when ever i want with out worrieing about the roads tearing it up. and having to pay ATON for gas(it gets what, half a mile per gallon? lol)?

what you pick is what will go. (unless i dont have enough to get te 325)

1989 Chevy z71 offroad

single cab, 6 foot bed, smallblock 350 5.7L

..thats the only truck i would take over a bmw.

z71 are expensive though, so a 4x4 with a smallblock is just as nice.. cost should be 2000-4500.

What shape is that truck in? The pick seems to show it needs a lot. Can a newer more efficient engine be mounted in it?
