And Idea For a Unified BMW Media Club Site (GreenBottle)
 

I was thinking that if all the forums got together and created a ultimate multimedia website for BMW racers, modders, techs, dealers, aftermarket parts, drivers, fans...everyone involved with BMW stuff would it be like this?

I'm thinking that would be just ultimate, The would be National and International Editors reporting and putting stuff on there of all the latest events and shows.

There would be Club T-sgirts, hot asian girls on the hoods and Sponsor's links and prizes/giveaways.

And music playing in the background...and nice videos of drifting BMWs and
M5s on the track.

I'm saying if the Honda/Neon/Toyota/Nissan Ricers can come together and do this why can't we.

I can also be like German cars even and include Audi's Benz's, VW, whatever....

(or has this been done before...to the extent of greenbottle media site.)

Does anyone think that this is possible or a good/bad idea?

everyone doesn't have be be actively involved to benefit. I can be just one web designer working 2hrs a day collecting intel, pics, media and conglomerating a collage of BMW /euro cars stuff. Whiles the rest of us contribute pics event info. The sponsors will naturally come in and provide freebees and $$$upport. And one moderating person overseeing the site about 1 hr a day...
It would bring in money and advance what we are doing here on the forum level to the level beyond...

On a serious note, it is possible, but not if you are going to make it look so bad.

I doubt it would work. Tons of Japaneese car enthusiast are hard core computer geeks as well since they are mostly the younger generation. However, lots of owners of higher class BMW's and german cars are older and don't care to spend/waste their time on the web looking at flash crazy sites.

This site has a purpose which is why it works. There is no need for flash and music and all that stuff.
