Have You Seen This?

The "Po - Lease" are taking advantage of technology. This my friends is what states are buying & mounting permenantly in areas that are high traffic & high speed zones. They can activate these little guys remotely from their cars. Not only do they get your speed but your pic too. Nice eh? It documents, date, time, speed and your "mug" and can catch upto 3 at a time. (This liitle gem was spotted outside of Nashville)

Wow, that sucks. We have cameras here for running redlights, but remote activation speed cameras is new to me.

Rooz, I don't think climbing 30ft up is really plausable for spray paint. But Hoppys' idea w/paintball gun or one of my guys said use a crossbow would be a quick fix. We gave 7 of them the "one finger salute" while rolling down the road (our driver said he's getting out his halloween mask)

I think he means the paint on the number plates. Does it really work? :deal :devil

Some of that license plate spray is supposed to work great. I have yet witnessed a plate I couldn't photo but I've heard from some trustworthy folks who say it works. The REAL stuff is the spray they use on police traffic units - to "flatten" the reflection on side emblems & marker lights - on the "radar clowns in the "co-medians"

Please take a bat to it for me.

nick_318is 03-21-2006 07:15 PM

Goddamn police, I want to be able to speed, everywhere and all the time without being given a ticket from a machine. They should at least have to catch you right?

witeshark 03-21-2006 09:02 PM

I wonder how many tickets can be beat by fuzzy pic issues :deal :dunno :devil

They're being tested in 17 states (according to AAA mag) - they're integrating them with highway traffic movement cams.

witeshark 03-21-2006 09:25 PM

South Florida traffic cams on the internet give crappy images :lol
