Writing UB Description - United Bimmer Community

All right, I'm about to revise the homepage (it needs it). The idea was tossed around about getting rid of it completely, and forwarding everything to the forums, however that idea would destroy our search engine placement, so instead I'm going to try to redesign it and direct more traffic to key places in the forum.

Anyway, rather than just having links and everywhere, I want to give search engines something to "hit". We need some kind of text content on the homepage that's readable by spiders and search engine crawlers. I'm trying to write a nice descriptive paragraph about UB, but I'm not doing very well at it. Anyone want to help?
