I wouldn't say your a freak, But it is hard to believe, I grew up near the water so for me it happened. Like some of the others I have never hunted but I have fished.

One thing that I forgot to mention that BMWLotAttendant mentioned... Fishing is a bonding experiece that you do with friends and family. Its not so much the crap I typed before as it is with the shared experiences that you get out of the trip. Yes, it can be fun, but I've never done it with just the guys, which now, after talking about it, I want to... even though that crap mentioned earlier may happen.

and thats another thing, we just do it for fun. we dont keep the fish. so theres no dieing fish lying around.

^^^ yeah if i ever go it will be catch and release, i like fish, but not tearing them apart to clean them.

And I get asked to go all the time, buddies are always on me, but i dont have a lot of time.

i would pack up and go by my self if my parents would let me.

and we only keep the fish if we go fishing with my dads boss(he has a realy nice boat. haha) so he cleans them for every one. and man... i love the taste of fish.. fish is good.

Worse part comes in when the hook gets stuck in your fingers.......yikes! But other than that, its a fun activity with booze in hand and friends on the side. Yeah I have never hunted, but me and my friend did kill a possum with a spade...

i got a hook stuck in my face... not fun. i have it on video(old vhs). i ran past someone with a fishing pole, i didnt see the hook and i ran right into it.

Actually I'd say the member base is probably pretty close to 50% under 21, 50% over. There are some youngin's, and some old geezers too. haha, it's good to have a mix.
