yeah my father-in-law has hit 3 times(all below 100k), though he has never shared any of it with his kids.

Where I never win anything that involves luck, I fair well in things that involve skill.

I have a story from about an hour ago about a dumbass cashier at a gas station. I went in there and asked if they still have the "buy 5, get one free" thing going on for this one type of lottery promotion we have in the south east (Win 4 Life). The cashier barely spoke english and replied "oh, er, um, yes, of course!". And I was like, cool, just curious, I only want one now though, and handed him a dollar. I took what he handed me and walked out the door. When I got outside, I glanced down and noticed he gave me 6 tickets.... buy one, get 5 free. I was like, wow, that guy's an idiot, but I'm not complaining.

gotta love ti when the person behind the counter can't even count change and it works in your favor.

I havent tried the lottery yet, mainly cause I feel like my money would be better spent on something like food or coffee or gas. Something I am guaranteed to enjoy

Dude at my shitty job won $10,000 on one of those vending machine scratch off tickets. The guy has been working there for 16 years and is making like $12/hr. And he still came back to work at 5am the next day... what a trooper eh?

Oh, and I've never won any ticket. Doesn't matter if I buy it or someone gives it to me. I'd probrolly get more on interest than I'll ever get in winnings if i stick potential lotto buying money in an account.
