converting toyota lovers?

Antone have any suggestions on how to convert my rice loving buddies.

jybute 03-03-2006 11:08 AM

'cuz you know, the whole world should drive BMW.

witeshark 03-03-2006 11:12 AM

Once they get a try of rear wheel drive :nod no looking back! :adance

german speed demon 03-03-2006 11:13 AM

Give them a ride? A real fast ride? Through lots of twisties?

craig 03-03-2006 11:13 AM

1: get them to drive an e36-e46 M3.
2: get them to join ub

BMW is what saved me from rice. lol.

doughboyea 03-03-2006 11:14 AM

Not Antone, but, you could just give them a ride in it, show them what an NA engine could do without having all the riced out crap all over it.

Dough

PS, curious question, why don't you just combine your two posts. There is an edit button, incase you forgot to add something or made a spelling mistake or whatever.....unless your just trying to dramitically increase your post count...?

I think you can tell by my actual post count and the history of my posts, plus how long I have been a member that I am not trying to pick my own name.

PS (OFF TOPIC)

one of my toyota buddies is a bit of a wild card... he has been known to dissapear for days at a time.... Ill bet a nice e30 would keep him in line.. but its hard to pry him out of his supra.

But, yes, to get back on topic, as you've so eliquently wrote, like others have said, an M3 would surely convince them.

Breaking him in slowly eh? Maybe go to a show, show em off a bit. Could do a little race here and there. If you do, be careful.

I'm not sure how your friend would be swayed honestly. People get into habits and may not be willing to change. Could be that a gradual change may not be strong enough to show the differences.

Ah, this just occured to me, how about an autoX event. Get some rice on the field and a bimmer. See which one can handle it better....

^^^^^ the latter sounds awesome, but I think the only way I could realisticaly change him is to let him drive my car...AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I dont want to, but sometimes a man has to do what a man has to do.
