Black Hole-In-One Contest
CNN reported this morning in upcoming days a Russian cosmonaut is going to tee up a golf ball from the International Space station. Mimicking Alan Shepard (Apollo 14 mission) who tee'd up a ball on the moon w/a 6 iron and it supposedly went for miles. Considering Tiger Woods tee shots go 300 yds, if this Russian (w/his gold 6 iron) hits a "decent" shot it will orbit Earth 4 times. If he "muffs" it, it has the possibility of getting in the same trajectry of the space station and become a possible hazard (no pun) This whole event is being sponsored by a Canadian Golf Mfgr.... fore! haha and tommorows news "super sonic golf ball from space kills pope!" haha i kno i know it would burn up on re entry. but would still be a golf ball going like,13 times the speed of sound heading towards earth!

I would just think it would be funny if they take out a satellite with the golf ball. It woudl serve them right |
