Anyone been to San Diego?

I am leaving frigid NH and going to San Diego on Saturday for a week and was wondering if anyone knew of any "Hot Spots" to check out. I am going with my g/f for a vacation b/c I never take them and I felt like getting away.

I plan on going golfing quite a bit to try out my new Bertha, anyone know of any good courses around there?

I also heard it was worth the trip down to Tijuana (Sp?) Mexico to check that out so we may hit that up too.

I'm told it was discovered by the Germans in 1904. They named it San Diego, which of course in German means "a whale's vagina."

Yeah, the sunsets on Point Loma are spectatular.

The Zoo is cool...and the trolley tours are very informational.

The Boardwalk...and the beaches.

If you're looking for a bunch of drunk college chicks and cheap booze, then definitely head down to TJ, otherwise there is not much else to do there. My Uncle Lives near Del Mar. It's a nice beach area. Not sure if you will be around there though.

Have fun. The weather has been awesome lately in Cali.
