make edwin the guy that clears the road up ahead, all the cops will be trying to catch up with him haha then get someone else with a boosted BMW to drive the contraband.
On the speeding thing.
Being late to school is just about the worst excuse ever...leave earlier. And if ur late because of traffic etc...leave earlier next time.
If you are late you arent going to be as attentive because you are thinking about being late, not your speed and driving.
I agree with doughboy. Although i am a hipocrit because of my "high speed" redevous(...is that how u spell that?) My friend died at 2 am, he hit a tree going 110 in a honda prelude. No one on the road, now tell me how thats safe? He fucked up once, and died.
Think twice.

I'm on Doughboy's side too.
I like speeding, don't get me wrong, but sometimes...I just don't feel comfortable driving 95-100 in a 70 zone (I'll do it a couple times throughout a 2-3 hour drive for 10 minutes max). But, I usually drive 80-85, and then if I don't feel like speeding at all, I do 77ish.
I guess where I went wrong is that I didn't state that I am for compulsory training. If you want a drivers license you are going to take a class. If you get busted doing something unsafe, you are right back in the class. I'm not for the removal of all speed limits. there is no reason to blow past a pre-school at 135 mph. But on the turnpike I-76 for those of you who are out of state, there was no effective speed limit when it opened (for those of you who can fact check you will find that officially there was one, but it was not enforced) And the speed limit was added because people would overdrive their cars, thus creating a dead car hazzard.
I would also consider a multi-class license, but the logistics are too terribly difficult to consider.
And for straight roads in PA, depends on your definition of straight,
I-76, I-81, I-80, most of I-70, I-83, I-79, I-476, parts of 422, these are all pretty straight and you can safely go pretty fast on them (except 78, I don't really care for 78), And for all you out of state people a speeding ticket in PA is a bitch because a $25 fine can end up costing you $100-$150. Really sucks.

if you think 78 is bad, in Pittsburgh you have I-279 which goes over the fort duquense bridge. It's 4 lanes of people criss-crossing going from one lane to the other, kinda looks like a ballet. You don't go through that at 70mph unless there is no traffic, it is just too dangerous. but just a few hundred feet away you have Pa-65 merging from the left onto I-279N and you have to pray that there isn't anyone in the left lane when you merge, and if you are trying to get to 28N you have to cut across both lanes to do it. It sucked to begin with, but now they have added a parking garage which obstructs your view of the oncoming traffic (as if you had a view to begin with) It's so unsafe that I actually avoid it whenever possible. And since it is a curve you can't even go slow on it because you can't see the people coming at you until they hit you. Just an overall bad design.
If you guys/gals like a stretch of road to "hammer down on" - try #30 between Dallas & Fort Worth Tx. It makes Daytona look like fisher price for driving. If they ever enforced the speed limits there, we could pay off the national debt in a week in fines. You can be doing 80+ and I guarantee you a ton of folks will pass you like you were on jack stands. "Insanity at it's finest"

I feel da love, BMWLotAttendant.
Being honest... I've gotten a ticket for doing 90mph in a 65mph zone, cost me $280 plus the usual insurance BS that comes along with that considering it was orignially a FOUR point ticket (court room got it down to a 2 pointer). I've had a friend die in a car accident. A very attractive 17-18 y/o girl from my HS class that was driving through the reservation in the Watchung, NJ and hit a tree. Died on impact. Gives me tears, even today thinking about it, 6 years later....
But to comment on roads, I was on a cross country trip with some friends from HS in a Jeep Cherokee. We were traveling in southern california on a 4 lane highway (2 east, 2 west) while leaving from the death valley area. I was keeping up with traffic, not noticing the speed, when a semi blew past me in the left lane. I looked down and the spedo needle was pointing straight down (way past 85mph). If I had to guess, the flow of traffic was ~95 to 100mph. That truck must of been going ~110mph+. That was some scary shit people. Now, some of you would discredit me saying that it could be impossible for a semi to do that... but I'm telling you, it did. Now, i'm not condoning anything, I'm just adding that in southern california, speeds are freakin insaine.
