I agree with that 100%. People driving to cautious makes me more nervous than going much faster than their ass. I enjoy feeling what my car was made to handle. If i'm going quick, mostly hwys, i still will respect the people on them. Driving is a sport, some are just better than others!

look, people can be driving fast for legit reasons, such as an emergency, or test driving a car, or because you gotta take a piss, or just plainly cuz your late! and beleive me, 5 minutes can definetely do a difference in all of those, and when you are late(for highschool in my case), if your 5 minutes late your screwed

Man, really, it's not worth it. What if your in an accident, then your really "screwed". Right? What if you break your arm, what if your ride is totalled? If you really gotta take a piss... pull over. I know that in some places you can get a ticket for that... go to a gas station or something. Emergency? Like what? Cops chasing u? And if your running late all the time, then leave earlier. I know it sucks. I had to do it for school. I have a normal 35min commute, but during rush hour it's like an hour and a half++ if there's an accident on the Hwy. So I gotta leave the house by 7am for my 8:30am class. Blows, doesn't it.

lol, well, true, but say you gotta take a piss, and if you live in an area like mine, residential, your not really gonna pull up to someone's house and ask to use their bathroom, thats just weird, and you will speed, but its not like your gonna go 100mph or something

emergency, like for instance, if you need to give someone a ride to the hospital,of course, your gonna say, call an ambulance, but ambulances still take time to get to you

right, if your runnign late, leave early, tahts what they ALL say, no one leaves late on purpose, atleast no i know of... someone may not notice the time, got caught up with something else, so you cant really say leave early, because thats what people try to do but it doesnt work out every time

Dude, i'm not saying you should ban speeding, but don't go in a 25 zone doing 50+ or on a Hwy doing 100+++. Man, I do 75-80mph on a 65 zone. I'm no hippocrite, I'll admit that. But, pushing the norms of speeding to some autoban level is not cool.

first and foremost, what color is your car key
refer to this thread, and maybe post there
http://www.unitedbimmer.com/forums/thread6440-2.html

secondly, i completely understand your point, but let me just tell you that sometimes people have reasons for speeding, and you should understand that and give them a break, maxing out your car(if its a fast one) on a road with more than a few cars on, like 150-160mph isnt very smart, i agree with you.. and honestly, 100mph isnt that fast, ever try going 90-100mph on a long tri? 3 hr trip, or like a 5 hr trip? trust me youll get there quicker, and its worth it! but then again, thats not cool if there are others on the road, its just that in pennyslvania, on some roads, you wont see another car for miles

no hard feelings btw

If you go 100mph on a 3-5 hour trip, you're damn lucky if you don't get a ticket.

i do that going to Birmingham. that's the reason it is a 3 hour trip. you just have to pick your moments. I average about 90 on the interstate. once you're out of the big cities, you're usually in the clear. still, watch out for state troopers.

omg, you should see pennyslvania! no offense to any people in PA, but seriously, at night, its STRAIGHT roads with not a cop for freakin miles! and theres no on on the road if you get the right time, its just amazing, and when your on a long trip, you gotta vary your speed, wether its slow or fast b/c it gets REALLY boring

Wait, you found a straight road in pennsylvania? Where?

It 's definitely incredibly boring, though. I drive across the whole fucking state to get to college, lol.
