I finally bit the bullet and bought a 42" Plasma TV :redspotda

X-Box is absolutely redic on this thing but the games are not in HD :(

It may be time to buy the 360 to go with it. And BTW, I got it at a local Tweeter (Where Rooz works). Lots of good stuff there.

Unfortunately they were out of the wall-mount brackets so I am getting them this friday, but this works for now.

How much did that cost, not trying to be rude, but I think my family might get a plasma tv soon.

The TV isn't a very "high-end" TV, there were simialr models that had more features but this works just fine for me. I paid $2000 for the TV and then a couple hundred for the extra HD components it needed.

turn down the tv brightness for the first 100 hours or so. Plasma has a burn-in problem. but after about 100 hours you should be ok, plus some models ship at full brightness.And nothing sucks more than burn-in.

Yeah the couches rock man. I got a great deal at "Bobs Discount" (not sure if they're nation wide) but it is a 4 piece set: sofa, loveseat, chair, and ottoman.


edit: thanks for the tip jms. They told me all about the burn. Hmmm 100 hours, I'm sure i could take care of that this week :lol

Nice Tube, I really want one but thats probably a couple years away. Regarding the burn in, just leave it on allday and you will get you 100 hours no problem.

Nice TV. My roommate got that same one earlier this year. It's absolutely awesome on game day. He also had the same bose system but decided to return it and search for a louder system instead.

I must say, having that TV with the bose system completely rocked during the super bowl...
