Need a news article - United Bimmer Community

I am in a US History class which turns out to be a course based off of the racial history of the United States.

I need an article of something that has happened recently that can be debated. It needs to be racial too (at least it would help a lot).

I was trying to look up an event that happened a few weeks ago where a Sheiff shot and I believe killed a man (was in the army I believe). The white sheiff told the man to stand up, and when he did, he shot him... I don't remember it that well, but I do remember that the video footage clearly showed the shot man did nothing to threat the officer into shooting him. Couldn't find that one, oh well.

Blah..

Any ideas?

Oh wait, that's FUTURE news. I guess that won't work.

IT DOESNT HAVE TO BE RACIAL... it would just help... just figured that out for sure.

the article does have to be debatable, and important to people (cant be about brittany spears being a dumb hoe)

Right now i am reading about the LA jail riots... still cant take a side of whether I believe segregating the inmates is wrong or not.

I think I might talk about how the United Emerites (I think that is how you spell it and I think that is the country), has a contract now to use a bunch of ports including Long Beach.
