I'd want to try some of that and see just what a $2,600 bar of chocolate tastes like....
like you wasted about $2600. I've had some good chocolate, but the average person can't tell the difference. Just like a great many things hype pushes the price.

at least with drinks that costs thousands of dollars you can tell the difference. Well here is my real-world example lol. I tried cabernet sauvignon red wine, and the next day had cabernet sauvignon that was 6 years old, and it definetely had a better taste.

But now lets say you had to put a price on that slightly improved taste. I will concede the point that a more expensive drink, or chocolate may have better attributes. But can you discern them and do they justify the higher price. Personally I find this is rarely the case.
