D-sky, your poll has ALL valid newbie questions - the one that gets me is the newbie that wants a Car FAX from a member. I feel patronized when a newbie can't intro themselves & develope a rapport w/members but has the "nads" to ask for info because he's too cheap to pay the CarFax $15. Or the guy who's only reason signing on is trying to sell something.

"Hi, can I borrow a $20?"

I voted for the dashboard beeping. But the radio code would be my second choice.

I voted for the radio code, I think this summer I had a thread asking about it cause I couldn't find mine and had to figure out how to get it.

I've seen quite a few rough idling problem threads. I don't think it'd be angel eyes, because most "newbies" who seek out a forum are looking for help (imo). Another common one is looking for user's manuals.

Yea but did you register on UB just to get your radio code or did you find the forum pretty decent place for info and folks with similar interest? I already know the answer, because you're not a dickhead freeloader. (Sorry about the mood, I've been up for some 32 hours and am getting loopy - UB is the only thing keeping me upright at the moment)

^ its cool C, i actually just stumbled upon the forum this summer while I was in Hong Kong missing my car and signed up because there was another guy on here with a 318is, i think it was a google search that got me here and I introduced myself and haven't gone anywhere yet.
