Yea, our current society is on a reckless path due to greed (like the Romans) - Politics, big business etc is concerned more on the almighty buck$$$$$$$$$$$ and the lower classes don't mean shit to them but inadvertantly support their hunger...

In history class we discussed this. The Roman cities were fed with lead lined water pipes and almost all the people were partially lead poisoned and therefore unable to defend an attack. :type
