meanings of 2 sayings..
what do these mean... "the world is at large" or just "world at large" and also... "new digs" it might be mew digs.. but i am pretty sure its new digs... |

i think new digs might mean a new house or something.... i can't get a straight forward answer from the net, and nobody older is around right now. |

Yea I have heard new digs as something new, house or clothing things on those lines. |

"new digs" are anything that is a possession that is considered hip or cool. (clothes, shoes, house, apt, condo, stc..) "world at large" is anything that is globably available or highly desired by folks worldwide. |

I think they really mean just what they mean . . world at large can mean the world in its glory or splendor: Nothing like touring the world at large. Or it can mean the majority of nations or people, for example: The world at large was against Iraq invading Kuwait. new digs just means something new to marvel at; something new to dig . . can you dig it? He he.
