Go as fast as you want, no one cares. Last time I was there, there was no speed limit. Just watch out for the drunks if your not taking the main roads.
Are u gonna be cutting through Calgary or Banff by any chance? If so when?
i just came through calgary. did not see this till i got back. i was not driving the bimmer anyways. glad thing i did not drive it cause the highway througgh the mountains in montana were terrible.
snow, rain, slush, and shitty semi drivers. i am surprised the parts through the mountains were not closed.
Thats completly unlike the Alberta Rockies right now. Highway 1 to Banff was competley free of snow, had a fair bit of gravel on the sides of the road though. It did snow lightly when i was coming back but nothing serious.
dry fluffy snow is fine to drive through. it blows off of the road and is easily cleared. that slushy shit just sits there and is tough to go through. once we got back into alberta the roads were awesome. 150-160 all the way back to edmonton.
