Hey I just got my new phone in the mail: The VK-2000. Its made by the korean company VK Mobile. Its a sweetass phone! I had to order it from portugal though as it wont be in the states for a loooong time. As far as I know its only sold overseas and mainly Korea right now. Anyhow here are a couple pics:

The only bad thing I've heard about this phone is that the battery life isnt all that great.. I've yet to find out. And if I dont like it then - EBAY!!

Nice phone and nice powerbook. And my next phone will be GMS, somthing that i can use anywhere, unless verizon gets their shit together i'm jumping ship.

heh i got cingular..the coverage is good but the service sucks.

as for that phone its nice. what company is it through..i thought u had to buy the phone from the provider?

you don't have to. I bought my Razr Black from eBay brand new in a shrink-wrapped box for about $100 less than I would have paid at a cingular store.

I hear the Verizon rant - their coverage is great, their customer service SUCKS, You'ld get faster service or help from FEMA

lol, agreed, i use verizon also, i get service in upstate farmland NY, and again the customer service blows

Love the Powerbook. I wanna get one soon. I have a Cingular phone, and I find the service rocks, worked after Wilma when everyone else didn't, and as a GSM phone = world phone

I got the phone from an online store in Portugal for about EU160 (altogether it was right around $200). It was an unlocked phone made by VK Mobile; a korean company that we dont hear about too much over here in the states. They are releasing another kickass one about the same size with a 2GB memory and it plays MP3's with and OLCD display!! That will be sometime in February.

Oh and yeah its a full tri-band GSM phone. I'll only use GSM - its used all over the world for one, so its cool for travel. I have Cingular and all I did was stick the SIM card in and it worked right away.

I've used the Razar before and I like the features (quad band, camera, etc) , but hate the phone. Im not a big fan of flip phones. And cameras - I dont really care for.. Im into photography so if I need to take a picture, I'll whip out the D200 that I DONT HAVE YET. haha ( PayPal donate to bugchild@gmail.com
