Blogs
Just curious, how many of you guys use blogs? I don't mean opened 4 months ago and have made one post, I mean like post in it at least once every few days.

i wrote out a big thing, but il be nice. blogs. i dont care about your ( crappy) poetry. having the purevolume flavor of the week as your " all time favorite" band does not make you cool, or show you as a music person. your "dificult plight" as a white, teen aged middle classed american, and how janie dumped you, four years ago, is of no intrest to anyone that matters. JESUS HATES EMO... and you. cut your damn hair. having an out of contrast/ focus picture of half your face, or any other wierd angle, does not make you artistic, original, or cool. if your picture is of a dudes chest,abs,arms, or otherwise missing common clothing, chances are you are a douch bag or a 40 year old pedophile. if your picture is of a hot girl, chances are you are a 40 year old pedophile, sorry but in my experiance hot chicks have better things to do than be on the internet.

I blogged about running for a while, but stopped last year. I just didn't have the time to be consistent anymore. It was only after I stopped that people emailed me and asked why I hadn't had an entry in a while. Didn't know people actually read my blog religiously, and kept them inspired to run  But I agree with Hoppy . . . unless your blog has a real purpose, who cares.

I do at times to keep notes & records when on the road. Sometimes client wants journal of venues/info at end of run - for credits, documentation and also for others. As far as the "thinking out loud" blogs, that's just people doing "self analysis"... some are pretty hilarious. One of my "cohorts in crime" takes clips from a handful of them, pastes them together, then adds a reply that is so off the wall. Some get pretty bizarre... |
