and i think there is a problem with decimals in ure proof. . . i know it repeats, but that is probably where the "error" (if there is one) in the proof is

interesting theory.

another way to look at it, consider this:

1/3 + 2/3 = 1 (you all know that from grade school.)

now consider that 1/3=.333~ and 2/3=.666~

.333~ + .666~ = .999~

or how about this pattern:

1/9=.111~
2/9=.222~
3/9=.333~
...
7/9=.777~
8/9=.888~
9/9= (you tell me.)

I guess .999~ really does equal 1. :\

1/3 * 3 = 3/3 sure radian wise, but in integer form it is .333... (1/3) * 3 = .99~, Not 1. theoretically radian wise. Integer it's wrong.

BTW 2/3 = .666...7

2/3 = .6667 when it's rounded off on the end.

1/3 = .333~
.333~ * 2 = .666~

not that this even matters much. infinity is a hard concept to grasp and as far as I'm concerned an unimportant one.

No, 2/3 is .666 repeating. The 7 ONLY appears at the end when it's rounded.

^^ That is mathematical proof that in any base n+1, 0.nnn... is always precisely equal to 1.

In other words,
In base 2, 0.111... = 1
In base 3, 0.222... = 1
In base 4, 0.333... = 1
In base 5, 0.444... = 1
In base 6, 0.555... = 1
In base 7, 0.666... = 1
In base 8, 0.777... = 1
In base 9, 0.888... = 1
In base 10, 0.999... = 1
In base 16, 0.FFF... = 1

In radial terms = 1 because there is no infinite fraction for 3/3.

Step back, think logically and you are saying that one integer is equal to another. It's not possible.
1. Like I said Infinitely repeated integers are not subject to normal mathmatecal procedures.
2. You cannot mix real numbers using radians and integers. 1/3 + 2/3 = 3/3 = 1, .333~+.666~ = .999~.

The number of 9's repeats to a point where it is incomprehensably close to the number one without ever reaching it.

thi si sjust like that juming to a door thing.

stand ten feet from a door...then go half way there. you are at five feet. now go half way again...ur at 2.5 feet. go half way again...you will never theoretically make it to the door.
