White phosphorous is particularly nasty stuff. Once sprayed with it, it can dissolve flesh right down to the bone. Basically, it continues to burn until it runs out of oxygen. Which – if you’re out in the desert – there’s plenty of O2 to be had.

Constituted as an illegal chemical weapon, the White House denied using white phosphorous as a weapon in Iraq. Today, the Pentagon confirmed that once again, they were lying.

NO WP is not an illegal weapon if used as an incindeary. it illegal if used for its caustic properties

its like if i sprayed you down with gasoline and let the gasoline natural properties kill you ( via asphyciation or chemical poisoning)

if i light that gas on fire. then its fair game.

it may be dirty. but so is war. and id stop. and take a good look at a picture of Nick Berg and try to tell me that WE are the war criminals.

yea seriously, they did violent stuff, but not as violet as killing everyone sprayed with that stuff, probably some civilians got effected too, and killing them in the worst way ever.. heck, id rather have my head chopped off than die that way, cheap bastards cant go in and get them theirselves, so they spray them with white phospherus

It goes through the clothes. If you see the pictures of the dead, they pretty much melted while their clothes are still intact. Plus, since it is a gas or powder, it spreads so civilians get caught burning from it.

White Phosphous is nasty shit, the same as napalm, but the US still used it. If it gets the job done personally i say use it. And it works great as an incendiary devive, specially in grenade form. So it works and works well, why stop using it?

because its a horrible way of dieing, and it effects civilians, im sure you wouldnt want terrorists using it, i think even they have more humane ways of killing people

You stop using it because a gust of wind can take it away from the target and into civilian areas. Thats what happened in Falluja.

you mean cutting peoples heads off on the internet, while they try to scream though there slit throats? real civilized.

he died in iraq. He was laid to rest earlier this year in my home town.

i have never met him, but if his life could have been saved by baking some insurgents, who's sole purpose is to try and kill our soldiers, then im all for it

Obviously, a loss of life is a big thing. But, when one enrolls in the military they have to expect to die. There is no war without some death. But having civilians who are not fighting and do not want to be in the war die, that is not acceptable.

WD is less civilized than cutting someone's head off, MUCH less painful, id rather die by having my head cut off than by WD, im not saying EITHER are civilized, im just saying, if they aretn civilized, that doesnt give us the right to be civilized

and not risking your soldiers? yeah thats true, but then again your killing a ton of civilians, just like in WWII when hitlor used mustard gas...
