For rock: Hawthorne Heights, Dashboard Confessionals, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stained. Just listen to 106.5 The End for some good rock.

These wouldn't really be for my personal enjoyment, I just need several genres of music to use them as demo CDs for work

Jazz?

Joe Sample rules. Try his Rainbow Seeker CD.

Tom Scott & The L.A. Express: Tom Cat.

Stan Getz is cool for mellow stuff, and of course the old school biggies like Chuck Mangione, Herb Alpert, George Benson, Basia, etc.

I mean, I could go out and get some Louis Amstrong, but I wanted some nice Jazz, because nothing makes some $950 car speakers sound as good as they can than some good Jazz
