Anyone else agree?

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10004302/

I certainly do. Why should the US protect anyone if it doesn't respect the military's presence. To the SF people who voted for this, which is 60% of you, GO FUCK YOURSELF!

Well if an attack or a natural disaster were to occur, they will learn the hard way about having the military there at the time it occured.

No they won't.. the nature of this country is now PEOPLE EXPECT everyone else to help them out. They'll bitch about the service not being quick enough, not enough help, etc. People need to learn that NO ONE OWES ANYBODY ANYTHING.

I hope an attack happens in SF and wipes out all of the queers and liberal jackasses that infest that town.

I agree with o'reilly, he's pretty harsh sometimes but he's a bright guy and san francisco has gone haywire.

Lets face it, sometimes O'Reilly is a moron, but this time I 100% agree with him. And it's not only SF that has gone haywire, but the whole US. It's just SF is a step ahead of everyone.

Let's see, this seems like an appropriate thread on Veteran's Day.
I'm happy to see so much support for the the military. Especially during this "War on Terra".
Nobody deserves more than today's Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines. What with the recruiting problems currently facing the Army and Marines, we can use all the able-bodied young men we can find. After all, isn't there a vast supply of young Americans willing to serve their country? Apparently not. Why is that?
Unfortunately, there appears to be many who would rather talk than act, afterall, talking doesn't get your head blown off or your spouse confined to a wheelchair for life. If you want to serve, then serve, I'll even send you the name of your local recruiter if you leave me your zip code. There's nobody who respects the role of the military like someone who's lived it, especially a combat tour, which I fortunately missed.
As far as O'Reilly being a moron, at least for now being stupid is not a crime. LOL

There cannot be enough said in support of our troops around the world for their efforts. May we thank them all with honor

agreed, we should have a Veterans day thread.

as far as the SF thing goes. I agree. I think that the military is the perfect answer for some people. And it is probably best to give kids this option right out of high school, before they can get involved in worse lives, like drugs, violence, etc.

I agree with everyone here. There should definitly be options for kids out of high school to enlist. Its a great alternative to some of the other things they can get into, hell its a great way to get an education paid for. If i was in a situation like that I would be signed up so i could make something of myself. Thankfully I'm not in that situation, and I appreciate all who sign up to defend our freedoms and keep up the good work, and most of all thank you.

guys, guys, i just realized, not having recruiters in schools, that may be to our advantage, we really dont want any fags in the militry, clapton can probably hook us up, but there is this comic labed "why we dont want gays in the military" and the guy is holding up the rifle saying "i catn shoot, hes just too gorgeous!"

im actually neither republican, but in my opinion, its a general concept, you dont wanna help the military, which can be fine, but dont ask for them to help you!
