They're trying to break out of the beige box look, and add something refreshing with their launch of windows vista.  The Microsoft chair including Bill Gates votes on the winner and they're awarded $25k for the best submission.

^^^ hahaha that would be funny. ive seen that. maybe make a computer that runs on hydrogen... and produces water as a by product. so you can be working and get fresh water to hydrate you...    thats actually a sweet idea...
