let me get this straight..... they put jet fuel in them but jet planes were rare during WWII so the fuel would be rare too.

don't you mean aircraft fuel?

jet fuel, airplane fuel, same thing pretty much.

I have just a regular copper one that oxidizes like crazy, and I have one from the UK that sais "No Smoking" and has the subway "underground" symbol. They are a lot of fun, and really helpful at times.

there was a site up for zippo tricks, but I tried to google it and the first one wouldnt come up. There was one crazy guy a while back that could twirl it around, open it, get a little fluid on the tip of his finger, light his finger then twirl it more and close it and put it out. totally nutz.

Zippos are great for camping. Thats when I use mine most.

jet fuel is basicly kerosene, piston plane fuel is closer to gasoline, kerosene would probibly be better for a lighter, just too strong.

oh and Strongbads lighter can be seen in the infamous "tragdor" clip
