Applying for college

Ok, I'm a senior in high school, and I have the great responsibility of writing half a dozen essays, filling out page after page of admissions papers, and sending all of my test/transcript scores in.

I also just got my latest SAT scores back which was an 1800/2400. Not bad, could be better, I guess studying would help.

I'm applying to the University of Washington, Washington State University, Western Washington University, and Stanford (mainly to see if I can get in).

This is for everyone to share their experiences in either getting into or attempting to get into school, and further more share some great senior highschool experiences.

What's the highest you can get on the SATs now? I remember the good old days when a 1600 was good enough, lol.

2400. so if the new and old sat's were the same difficulty and both had the essay, i would have gotten a 1200.

Dont waste your money on Stanford. Seriously I had friends with 1580/1600's who didnt get in. 3 friends actually. The hardest part about Stanford is getting in. Save your money.
