Got a Credit Union? Apply for financing there in the morning while it still qualifies as a new car there!
If you personally Ever walk into the dealership again, have your lawyer with you as a witness to your behavior. And don't beat anyone up in front of the lawyer please. It makes their job much harder

In a repo situation, you pay the depreciation or damages to the vehicle after it was delivered to you, plus the remaining balance after whatever the car resells for. In other words, you pay the difference between what you owe and what it resells for, plus whatever repairs needed to get it to resellable condition. Of course there will be other fees like the cost of the repo, etc. In your case it should't be much since it's a brand new car.
^^ fuck that. James, how bout when i get my car back ill drive down to were ever u live, and ill bring my paintball gun. Not only can we fuck over the car, but shooting a dealership would be the funnest thing ever. Or find out what car the GM drives and well shoot up that
Just threaten with a lawyer. Go and talk to them again, and since very likely they will say there is nothing they can do about it, tell them that you're pretty sure your lawyer can do something about it. I think they will be more open to help if you declare that you still want the car (which I understand if you do not, but that is besides the point) and what you want to do is to straighten up that mess without having to take them to court.
Like Torque said, it is likely that there is nothing you will be able to do about it. However, I hope you can work something out.
At some point, I think the dealership needs to think of it's reputation. Get it in the news -- call the local help me out reporter from TV news. Results overnight I bet!
