I just watched a garbage truck almost snag the telephone cable going into my house. It was literaly dragging across the top of the truck. From all the rain & wind a tree branch across the street has weighted it down. So I call Verizon, and their best response is that someone will look at it on the 24th . . . that's 10 days from now! Gotta love them . . if I mysteriously disappear from the internet for a few days, you'll know what happened

Verizon is really "customer oriented" - NOT! You should be glad you're not one of their cell customers. I use to be until I had dispute with their "customer-dis-service". They make it impossible to get a straight answer and someone to step up & resolve a problem or flaw. They're too busy raking in the $$$ to address issues - it's a circus. I had to go to the FTC to get my problems resolved and they immediately took care of their "glitch" as they called it. You'ld have better luck talking to your shoes than to those idiots...
Sprint sucks too! lol I had to go through the BBB just to speak to a human because they shut off my service for a check that didn't clear cause it had my dad's address on it, while my mom's address is on the contract cause I live with her (which they, of course, neglected to tell me about). When you don't have service, you can't speak to anyone. Nice, huh?

yea well i got Verizon too but our cables r underground. one thing my rents wanted when they bought our house 20 yrs ago. but we dont have verizon for interent, dsl sucks. we have cable, but pay a shit load for it and the linksys router doesnt even reach my room so i cant take advantage of the high spee connection we pay for.. bastardos
