What do you define rice as? Rice is useless mods that do nothing for performance, and in fact may decrease performance.
Such things as 18 inch or larger rims, headlights, lowering springs on stock shocks, tint, body kits, interior bling, taillights, everything useless that the majority of the community does is defined as rice.. but oh no, god forbid someone call it that, since afterall we're talking about beamers here.
When you get up every morning thinking about those oh so sexy coilovers, that you would literally kill for.

First, it's BIMMER not beamer. If you can't get that right stfu. It's in the name of the F***ing forum.
Second, while I completely agree w/ you that a lot of bimmer owners do "rice" their cars out, there are several components you described as rice which in fact or not (i.e. 19 inch rims made by Dinan to help optimize the e46 handling, and numerous body components that increase engine and or brake cooling, down force, and overall aerodynamics).
