Second, while I completely agree w/ you that a lot of bimmer owners do "rice" their cars out, there are several components you described as rice which in fact or not (i.e. 19 inch rims made by Dinan to help optimize the e46 handling, and numerous body components that increase engine and or brake cooling, down force, and overall aerodynamics).

I call them beamers.. always have.. always will, who the hell says bimmer in real life? Not that i have anything against the sites name.

Anything over 17 inches on an e36 is aesthetically oriented, 18's have rubber with undersized sidewalls inorder to fit into the wheel wells without rubbing. Ask anyone who tracks their e36, 17's are the best size for a stock fendered car.

19's may very well be possible on an e46 M3, i dont know. Definetly not on any of the other models that dont have widebodies.

Beemer = Motorcycle

I know that for a fact.

You know your an enthusiast when:
-you can make fun of someone about their car without making a sweat..because you have already rehearsed the lines..
-you can talk about cars for a straight 4 hours

eh, cant really think of any good ones, most of them have been said.

Dinan uses 18s for thee 36. And Turner Racing uses/used splitters for their e36s.

...Who the f*** cares any way. What was said was to make a point, not start a fight. I agree that most exterior mods are non functional, but some are. It's not rice if it works.

Edit: Hijacked threads = this sight getting gayer by the day. If you're gay and you think it is offensive that I said gay f*** off.

Well theres just a certain way things are done. lights for example who the F**K puts on a set of lights that look like pimples that are about to burst on yur cars rear end?? Most Hondas ive seen have that shit thats why its RICE!

and yea so i got a 1 on RMC but i aint bitchin about it, hey my Bimmer aint top notch you know i be tryin to keep the bumper on with crappy screws, since im too cheap to go to the body shop.

10. You and your car have "moments"
9. You shun people who don't like cars as much as you.
8. You care more about the appearance of your car than your own appearance.
7. You tell your mechanic what is wrong w/ your car.
6. You are your mechanic.
5. Your garage is climate controlled so your car is always comfortable.
4. Cleaning your car makes you feel better
3. You get pissed when people tell you you're obsessed w/ cars. (It's not obsession, its a hobby, right? )
2. You would rather fix a problem w/ your car, than fix a problem in your relationship.
1. You think about your car more than the opposite sex. (I don't do this )

right but those cars are ACTUALLY RACED....when was the last time any of the E36's on this forum were used for dedicated road race cars? they are the only ones that need that stuff....

stop trying to defend ricers...and by the way again we are talking now about 18's, again, not 19's on an E36...nuff said

Sorry harry for continually going off topic but people with rediculously asinine comments with poor defenses need to be put in their places...

and dan is right

Bimmer = Car
Beamer = Bike...
