Snow Boards?! Best Brands? Best Spots in North East?

Okay, when I go back up north for winter break I'm boarding....
Got my roof rack now so I don't have to rent...anyway There is a shop nearby that order new top brand models for cheap. I guess because it's Jacksonville...
anyway...
whats a good brand (Burton)?
and where are good spots in the North East and Canada (besides Vermont & NY) ?

This was me about 2 winters ago...I usually do X country and minimal downhill in the ADK, Vermont or Catskills..but last year by february it was so crowded at SugarLoaf the snow was flat.

I go to okemo in central vermont.. it is by far the best mountain i have found on the east coast so far..

All my snowboarder friends from school would go there too, it is 100X better than stratton mountain and it is really clean, well maintained, has great snow, and ALOT less people than stratton (or any other east coast mountains for that matter), its also a pretty damn big mountaint, with a shitload of lifts and different trails, its mad fun.

115 trails, slopes and glades
18 lifts, including 9 quad chairs (5 high speed detachable quads), 3 triple chairs and 6 surface lifts.

Verticle Drop:
2,200 feet (highest in Southern Vermont)

best boarding is over towards the west.

I know that doesnt help much, but if you want to go to some sweet boarding places, book a flight.

I worked for sugar bowl last year in the ski/board tech department and the burton boards were the ones that were always comming in for waxing not anything like broken bindings. so yea get a burton board

there was a board that came in without its rider once tho, i hope its rider was in better condition it piled into a tree turns out when I looked into what happend for the report, the guy got a bui (boarding under the influence) and broke a bunch of bones and he was sitting in the first aid and bleeding from the head and I could see his leg and arm were broken and he was saying to the nurse "I dont feel anything I want to go back out"

And then i wear gore-tex pants on all days with either a gore-tex jacket, or on warmer days, a hoodie. On warm earlly april days, i sometime bard with just a fleece pullover.
