So I've been on the phone with our datacenter for probably 4 hours today. They screwed up our account's bill date, so they charged us 6 days early, and disconnected our account from lack of payment. I called bitching and complaining, and they passed me around to 4 different people (July, Doug, Yuri, and Marissa). Finally they tried to transfer me to a manager again, and then told me she'd gone home for the evening and won't be there until tomorrow morning. I'm like what the fuck, our server is offline right now. As it turns out, I ended up having to pay $214.99 out of my personal account to get our server back online. I've been a customer of theirs for YEARS, and spent thousands of dollars with them, and after all that, they wouldn't even waive the fucking $25 reconnect fee. I get to continue fighting tomorrow at 8am when they get to the office.
wow i appreciate the hard work, i dont know if this is a choice, but i would say screw them and go to a different company(althought you may not be able to do that because you already paid), but im sure that if you are going to go with the transition you can use our old server in between, then again thanks a lot!

That wasn't really the problem.
The problem was they disconnected the UB server, and I had to pay the $200 to get access to the files, otherwise we would have lost all your posts and my programming work. I haven't decided where we're moving yet.
That is just rediculous. They are the ones that screwed up and now you are having to pay for it. The biggest annoyance here is that you have been a customer for a long time. They should have done everything in their powers to please you so that they don't loose your business. I think the way they acted should be taken into consideration as means for moving over to another server.

well im glad we're back up.. I was having withdrawal already
but that is the typical customer service run around. when my comp literally got fried, dell had me on the phone for about 4 hrs having me try various things after i told them that the motherboard was fried. they then tookl like an hour transferring me around to different managers to get me a new machine. my next comp will be home built bc of their poor customer serivice.

Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
