Gone for the weekend
Just wanted to let everyone know that I will not be around this weekend, I am headed to a BMWCCA drivers school at Grattan Racetrack. I have driven here before and its a sweet track with some elevation changes and off camber turns. There will be a lot of Bimmers there and some will be very modded, so I will take some pics of the cars and hopefully get a few of me on the Track.

Back from the track it was fun look for some pics and such before too long. I need new brake pads all around so I will do the DIY when I get to it. I think I also have to replace a Rear wheel bearing, does anyone know how dificult this would be or an approx price on the parts?

it cost me $325 for the weekend plus food and gas, luckily my brother sprang for the hotel room or else I would have split that with him as well. Some places will charge for a tech inspection but the car has to pass in order to participate so broken things need to be fixed if there is a problem which can add to cost. Now I need to go out and Buy Pads and probably pay to get what I think is a wheel bearing problem fixed. So in all it gets to cost a pretty penny. Oh and I Beat on my tires and am hoping I can get another summer on them, but I definitly cant get another drivers school on them. there are lots of things that can add up quickly so its not the cheapest thing to do, but its very very fun. Especially when your going by e46 3 series like its your job and you have a 4 banger e30, or when somehow your e30 is able to keep up with an M Coupe and play around with each other.
p.s. I dont think I would have passed as many e46 3 series if I was in a more advanced grouping, but for some reason they put me back in D Group again. Anyway I will make a post with some pics and details in a day or two.
