I know, i know, its a repost, but my god.. i want a goddamn corvette.. i am so speechless... GM has done an amazing job, this car is faster around the ring than the F'ing 911 GT3 RS, yes the RS.. and it costs what? 65 grand..
So lets think about all of this.. 0-60 in 3.6 seconds, a top speed of 198 MPH, 26 MPG.. all for 65 thousand dollars. You cannot beat it, you just cant.
Not to mention the fact that the engine in it is extremely simple and a time tested design that has proven reliability. The engine is also extremely detuned, add headers, exhaust, intake manifold, a hotter cam, and this thing will show a real fight against ferrari's finest, the enzo.
This car is a beast, and it compares to europes finest, all for a fraction of the price.. i love it.
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
^^^ i can, ive seen an E46 with a Corvette V8 in it pushing over 400hp. Sounded kinda kool, but it seemed wierd to me putting an American engine into a German car.
The LS1 swap has been around for over 2 years.. many have done it, its a smaller engine in terms of the space it takes up and also lighter than the BMW i6's. Reliability is considered better by most, and it gets 26-30 MPG.
To get an e36 to perform like that thing would take alot more than just sticking the engine in it.. suspension, brakes, steering, widebody, rims, tires, everything would have to be dealt with, i would rather just have the z06.. looks like a beast too..

and with the Z06's suspension setup, it'd fare pretty well in the twisties. its low to the ground. amazing suspension setup, lightweight, wide tires. it'd do pretty well.

I think i may take the GT3RS because its so sexy. But yea I still have to read up a little more on the Z06, but definitly a very worth while car, maybe one of the few American Cars that I like.
