I love the books, and in general, dislike the movies. It seems like they leave out the best parts of the book in the movies.

Maybe that's just me though.

I read the books out of sheer bordum over time and agree with you...just cut out too much...but then again thats how it always works right?

Haha, I started reading the books because I wanted to see what kind of "book" could take over the nation like this.

... and I ended up loving them.

I read the latest book recently.

I saw this trailer a while ago (my homepage is apple trailers

). My problem with the movies other than the best parts being left out is that i get so into the books that i can visuallize every scene and i had this whole world created in my mind and then i watch the movies and it completely destroys the world i had created in my mind.

EXACTLY. I started to write that exact same thing about visualizing one thing, and the movie being different, but I realized that was a lot to type and I got lazy, haha. But yeah, same here.

The books are so much better, I just read the first three these past two weeks. My roommate pretty much forced me to read them, but they ended up being really good.

Have you guys seen the video where some guy goes around at midnight when the last book went on sale screaming the spoiler to everyone in line? It's so funny, this one kid screams "Nooooo! You bitch!" I'll have to see if my roommate has the link. Actually, it wouldn't really matter now that I've told you what happens

I like the movies, and haven't read the books, but I am sure they are great.

And correct me if I am wrong, but I believe JK Rowling is now the richest woman in England correct? aside from maybe the queen?
