we (the roomies, many friends, and I) just finished keg number 12 since september first!!! wOOt.

We have this program at our college called WOW (which really stands for week of welcome) which we consider week of wasted. So every night this week we have had a keg.

I know this is kinda a pointless thread, but post here if you are wasted right now like I am. I just had a quesidilla and it was bombskis... mmmm

so anyway... keg number 12

and 2 more tomorrow night. we're throwing a party for the wowies....

For the life of me I can't understand why you college folk drink so much damn beer. All it does is fill you up till you're all bloated, till you hit your 30's and you become another fat bastard like me. You gotta drink so much to get a good buzz, and it's too much shit to carry in the first place. Then you gotta worry about who's bringing back the empty keg. Me? I keep it simple- a nice compact liter of liquor and a soda chaser

yeah, i can't afford to drink beer. for the same 20 dollars it would cost for me and a friend to get wasted, we get a handle of ever clear and get the whoel party wasted

If one handle will get your whole party wasted, then the party sucks.

i prefer to drink with a small group of friends. i don't do the crazy party thing very often. and you gotta keep it small and quiet at berry college. 15 people got arrested last weekend for underage drinking.... i'm gonna go scan in that article now

Hahahahaha.

I'll take a pic of a downtown bar or something one day. 9/10ths of the people walking in are underage students with fakes, and cops walk by and as long as you don't drink and drive, they don't care. They have better things to do than bust underage drinkers.

^^ Hell, I was at a frat party a week or two ago for a rush party (meaning full house party, maybe 300 people or so, mostly freshmen), and the frat actually HIRED two cops to sit at the front door and make sure no one gets out of control or drives drunk. The cops couldn't care less that underage people were drinking. They were just there to make sure no one killed themselves.

thats typically how things are here, and my RA lives next door and comes and drinks with us, s he's chill. but the Dean of residence life is up for tenure, and is really cracking down. as long as you're not driving or being insanely stupid and camping (illegal on campus, don't ask why... we have 28k acres but we can't use it) they don't really bother. they don't go around looking for it, but if you make it obvious, prepare to get fucked.
