Look up those parts and you'll see I'm not messing around. If you REALLY want a good amp, (or decide to get 2 Resonant Engineering XXX's or an 18" MT and thus REQUIRE more juice), get one of the Crown I-Tech amplifiers. Not only does it look sexy, the I-T8000's 8Kw at 8 ohms is absolutely deavistating.

If you ever are in the market for a receiver, take harman kardon into SERIOUS consideration. I've used the AVR 130 and 235 for quite a while, and the DSP presets, and navigation of functions just makes SENSE compaired to the other japanese crap out there. It's the cleanest amp I've ever played with. (Onyokos are good too)

I think we might be going with LG or another well known company, and it has to be nice looking of course). We saw a Panasonic that was pretty cheap that was 42 inch wide screen HD, but, not sure if we like the way it looks.

I think samsung is a best bet. nice tvs, really good sales on them right now.
