I can't hide it

I'm so excited.

About to drive back home to Tallahassee in the morning.

18 hrs and 998 miles of alone time with my Alpina B1.8 replica 318i on I95!

sorry, but a rental car would be a lot more fun....
you can do anything to it and wont worry about breaking your car

you can get a little napalm made up, put it on your roof, light it and go driving on the freeway... you cant do that with your "long ass description of a 318" car.

^^ THE TRUNK BADGE

But seriously 18 hrs and 998 miles I would think twice about my BMW for that long a trip and that many miles.

Am going to Florida on the 24, ~10 hour drive, we're taking a rental. The cross of me driving my car there never even crossed my mind!

Wow ... I still can't believe how scared people are of long trips with their cars. Throw in a quart of oil and a bucket of water in the trunk in case shit goes wrong and go.

I'd take my car on a 1000 mile trip right now, without any hesitation, and it's at 173,000 miles ...

ive driven to Banff and back like 5 times this summer with no probs. i would have no problems taking it on a longer drive, just need to get my oil changed first, and maybe an alignment.

Yea, you people are nuts, your driving 5-10 grand cars, not brand new M5's.

I would take my car cross country right now and not think twice about it.

Just goes to show you that people with crappier/older cars have more confidence than those that own newer ones.
