I'd go with dudesky on this one smalls nice but you'll want somewhat real power. Haven't driven one lots of my friends started out with 600cc++. I know I'd probably kill myself on one bc I love the speed.

Even if you're not going for breakneck speed (that's good to hear), you still want a little go go. Anyhow, it's a good move, what with the gas prices nowadays.
that is EXACTLY how I feel. 600 is a good place to start.
and yes, I also REALLY have the bug, I hope I can get my hands on one before I graduate.

i know its not a rocket but my cuz has a cr500 and u need to hav major respect for a bike like that... any bike really. hes actually raced a few harleys and caught em by surprise and ate em up. bikes ar definatly fun... and economical with the gas prices and all. and since im in jersey insurance is a major plus. i think i would want an r6... not too big, not too small. lots of fun

You have three choices, stand behind our troops, grab a gun and toe the line with our troops, or stand in front of them, they can use the extra armor.
the same issue came up to my brother when he wanted a bike, he didnt want anything too fast(first time ever riding a bike w/engine) so instead of going crotch rocket, he went cruiser, he got a mid size cruiser, 750CC, def. not as fast as a crotch rocket, not slow at all, nice and comfy, and not too heavy. also, it isnt a harley, its a honda, so its not heavy and it has a lot of nice features, and its cheap.

i have a couple of friends who have bikes, and i wanted one...but it's not the fact that i'd do stupid stuff on it(which i'd probably would), but the fact that it's other ppl who don't look out for bikes. my cousin was killed last week b/c a car pulled out and hit them in their side. both were wearing helmets, but my cousin died and his gf had major bone and internal injuries...so, i don't think i'll ever get on one
yea my dad sold his because he was to tired of almost getting killed everytime he rode. Plus people driving cars today dont give a shit about any thing around them, they just want o get home
