you and i both know that as soon as mobil or exon reduces the price below what those "other" companies are offering peole will buy it again defeating the purpose. people are born impatient here in the US and won't have the patience to waste money on higher gas while waiting for an already low mobil and exxon price to keep dropping.
just my $.02

i dont buy from those places anyway. but the only way to lower gas prices is to declare opec a terrorist organization or a monopoly, or a trust or w/e the fuck we need to call it to take the fuckers out.

You all realize that Exxon is the highest quality gasolin on the market, no? I know a dyno operator that will not strap a car down unless Exxon 93 is in the tank...

you realize ever brand that draws off the pipeline draw the same gas. the only differance made is in the additives they add after they pull it. even then almost all the additives are the same, these addatives are for the differant polution concerns around the nation. elsewise all gas is the same. ( with in the same octane, cause i know some one is gunna be a dumbass and try to argure me)

This is exactly true . . . company X can pump 10,000 gals into the pipeline in Texas, but what they pull out in, let's say New Hampshire will not be their own. The lines are only seperated by octane rating.
Hoppy, you watch too much History Channel
And just to throw it out there, I've owned over a dozen cars in my driving life, and they all had problems with Exxon gas. Best performance I've gotten consistently was from Sunoco, but they're too expensive now. It's all about the additives and how they work with your particular car.
