Your Ride: Whatever I can get my hands on
I have a friend named Angela (harry, you probably remember her from high school). her and her boyfriend john were supposed to be going to Tulane this year in n'awlins. Obviously thats not happening this semester considering half of their main campus is under 10 feet of water....

but the cool thing i learned is taht they both went down to GA Tech yesterday and talked t the dean of admissions about immediate enrollment... he was an ass hole and said no because the year started and they didn't apply. But then i suggested that they go and talk directly to the provost, which they did, and being the humanitarian that he is, is allowing them to take classes at Tech for as long as it takes to get tulane up and running again (which could be up to a year), no questions asked (no official trannscripts to speak of they just took in photocopies of their high school transcripts and SAT scores). he even gave them breaks on how much their tuition was supposed t be.

There need to be more people in the world like this.

Yeah I heard that Tulane has closed its doors for the entire school year. Hopefully they will still have enough $ to stay alive after all said and done B/c it is one hell of a party school and a lot of fun being right in New Orleans.

This is one of the major topics we are talking about in my International Business 333 class.

Oil prices, gas, and this Hurricane.

The teacher said that there aren't very many oil tankers, and that they now have to be double hulled....at least to deliver to Europe.

But this hurricane, caused a decrease to the USA oil intake by 10% because of the NO port.
