i need answers!
What word in the english language's pronunciation changes when capitolized?
and what word has 3 sets of double letters |
AS FOR the word whose pronunciation changes, it's polish, which becomes Polish once the P stands up for itself.
One caller and three e-mailers brought that to my attention over the weekend. But I don't mind a little repetition, because I have the patience of job. I mean, Job. http://www.unitedbimmer.com/forums/thread3384.html Question Jamie, What common English word changes its pronunciation when the first letter is capitalized? I need the answer today, if you are able, for a trivia question. Thank you very much. Sincerely, Mike Answer Hi Mike, Thanks for your question. I think that the word would be polish. When it is capitalized, it means "relating to or coming from Poland"; when it is lowercased, it refers to something you use to shine cars, furniture, etc. I hope I got you the answer in time! http://experts.about.com/q/1815/3361156.htm i dont get it, but is that the answer for the 1st one? and for the second one bookkeeper? |
