ok so i am ubsested with cleaning my car...and i cleaned my neighbors car for liek two years before he recently moved. So..ima start a mobile car detail business. My area consistes of a bunch of people who are to lazy to do anything..including washing cars and working in their yards...so ima take advantage of that. Of course im still doing my yard work business. So..Ima break up pricing into these catergories...
1.exterior detail(wash(windows tires) wax)
2.exterior basic(wash)
3.Interior detail
4.interior/exterior Detail
prices..havent made up my mind yet. Either way...i can detail my car in like 1:30 inside out...so it wont take to much time to do others.
ok yea
comments plz

You gotta be doing something wrong if its taking you an hour and a half to wash your car man..
Unless you dont do it the right way.. wash, clay, polishing, sg, wax.
Interior time is decided by how dirty it is.. when i first got my car it took me like 2 hours to do it, now it takes 20 mins.
It takes me a about an hour and half for mine to wash and dry mine. But When I am done it looks like it's just been waxed. And my car never really gets dirty...
See I wash my car at least every Sunday. IF it rains, I rinse the car off when I get home, and usually briefly wash it and dry the next night. IF it gets dirty, I briefly wash/dry the same day.
On weekends, when I wash it, I wash it 3 times in a row before I dry it. First time with long brush briefly wash everywhere at once. Second time I was one side, then rinse, then other side then rinse, then rear, roof and front, then rinse the all thing. And last time I wash the all thing with a glove. I do the same for wheels between each rinse and wash.
And last rinse I squeaky it off with a special 100% plastic squeaky and dry the car with a Micro fiber cloth for body, and a special cloth for the windows. Not meaning to brag but I wash my car better than any detail shop job I have seen before, and trust me I have seen a lot of cars before and after they went to a details shop!
And as far as starting your own "washing business" if you are a car cleaning freak like me, I would say it's not worth it!
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.

u make it semm like i dont know how to wash a car..i do lol.
Hour and a half for detail...thats cleaning in the grooves and shit, headliner, basic carpet cleaning etc. as for it taking that long with other peoples cars...im not gonna be washing their cars every week..so it will get dirty.

My nieghboor has a business like that. he only does show cars though. He sells dri-wash in gaurd, a waterless cleaning system for his car. It seems like a good idea, you can make good money outa it. he charged like $75-$200 depending on what u wanted done.
yes, i just have a question, doyou really think there is a market for that kinda stuff? i mean if it was me, id just take my car to any carwash place, but i guess it would be a little convienient if i wouldnt have to drive my car there
oh yeah, and make sure the area you are in has people which own nice cars, and the owners care about em, b/c sometimes people just couldnt care less lol
